The importance of knowledge and knowledge-based activities in the present era is quite clear for any organization. All organizations have a large amount of information, but efficient use of information depends on the availability of efficient and specialized human resources capable of working with the organization's information in order to achieve the organization’s goal. Focusing on the importance of knowledge in realm of current organizational activities, the current research aims to identify the factors affecting the knowledge sharing in project teams. The present study is a qualitative research that uses exploratory and survey research method. The statistical population of the study consisted of all experts working in Hamkaran System Group companies. Sample size was determined to be 17 using simple snowball non-randomized sampling method. For data analysis, Grounded Theory approach and 3 stages of open, axial and selective coding were used. Based on the analyzed data, 23 codes were selected as axial categories. Involvement in the knowledge sharing program was considered as a key code or category in the considered model. The paradigmatic model was used to analyze the 23 factors identified in order to explain the knowledge sharing model.
